We strongly believe that God's purpose for mankind is for every person alive to be abundantly blessed. Our believe is that these abundant blessings are hidden in what the Bible teaches as the Kingdom of God. In Matthew 13:44-46, Jesus said: “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy, over it, he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it."
Now, according to this passage, Jesus is saying that:
- Those who find the Kingdom of heaven, (which is like hidden treasure and beautiful pearls) will be filled with joy over what they have found.
- They will stop searching and seeking because they have found it. the pearl of great price.
- They will cherish and protect it (i.e. they will hide it) and.
- They will sell their all in order to possess it.
For this great blessing, nothing less than their ALL is worth the price. My question here is: How come we do not hear of this "goodness" about the Kingdom of Heaven anymore?
