105 Things God Says About You
Praise the Lord! I am about to introduce you to a book that will revolutionize your way of thinking and believing. The content in this book will give you an attitude of victory, and the frame of mind to live the victorious life that God has for you.
Open your heart, and be ready to receive some victorious words God has said about you. This book “105 Things God Says about You,” will help you to embark upon a journey that is going to renew your way of seeing things, to see them in the light of the victory of God’s Word.
Victory in Jesus is what we have.
The main character in this book is you.
God wants you to begin to see yourself the way He sees you. You are complete in Him and you can become everything that God says about you by simply internalizing those things that God has said about you and understanding who you already are in Christ.
The Bible says in 1 Peter 1:23 that the Word of God is a seed. “For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.” Seeds, as you know, must be planted. And if they are to grow they must be planted in soil. If they are to grow properly they must be planted in fertile soil. A seed cannot germinate in the wrong environment. A seed cannot germinate in an environment that it was not meant to germinate in. In John 6:63, Jesus said that the words He spoke are spirit and life.
Therefore, the Word of God being spirit must enter into the human spirit before it can germinate. It cannot and will not germinate in the mind. But the mind is the place at which it begins its journey to your spirit. Entering in through your eyes by reading, (Luke 11:34, “The light of the body is the eye:”) or through the ears by hearing, for "… faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17)
The process begins in the mind through the revelation of the Holy Spirit and repentance also occurs. A 180? turnaround is set in motion through a continual refreshing and nurturing by the word. The Word bores a hole through your soul as you are converted to Christ in a given area, leaving a clear conduit through which the life of Christ can flow. It penetrates your spirit where the Holy Spirit waters the Word through prayer. The Word will germinate and become life to you after its kind.
The Word of God talks about the seed of the serpent or the seed of the devil in, Genesis 3:15, which says, “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” The seed, in that particular reference, is the thought or the word of the devil. Jesus said it contains a lie, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (John 8:44) Hence the term corruptible seed as seen in 1Peter 1:23.
Many people have an image in their mind that was not put there by the Word of God. It is a bad image, it is a wrong thought. Not only do they have a bad image of themselves, but they have a bad image of God as well. Yet, we were originally created in the image of God. Satan has distorted mankind’s view of himself, his view of his fellow man, and his view toward God.
Brother Celestine Nakeli has taken time to put together a book on “105 Things God Says About You,” making God’s Word handy for you to release in your life through putting your faith in the finished work of Christ by confessing to yourself, and meditating therein (i.e. proclaiming what you are). This will change the image that you have of yourself and the image that you have of God into the image that God intended, to help you build faith and confidence to face the encounters of life. Jesus Christ is in your heart, if you have accepted Him as your Lord and Savior. HE IS THE GREAT I AM. He is everything to you that you need.
Except from the book.
#17 - You are free from condemnation (Romans 8:1-2)
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.” Because you are in Christ Jesus, your advocate, you are no longer under condemnation. In fact you have been immune from all manner of condemnation because of your allegiance to the King. All charges that were held against you were dropped the moment you took the decision to follow Christ. Do not let the devil accuse you any longer. The next time he comes with his railing accusations, tell him he is living behind time because Christ bore the condemnation on your behalf.
Proclaim what you are “Father I thank you for what you say concerning me. I believe Your word with all my heart and all my soul. I refuse to believe what my circumstances say. I refuse to believe what people say. I stand on your word and therefore confess that I am what you say I am, and I who you say I am.”
“There is now no condemnation over my life. I have been forgiven, cleansed, justified and restored. I rebuke every voice of accusation.. I have been declared not guilty, set free and shielded by the law of the spirit of life. I refuse to operate to operate under the law of condemnation, in Jesus Name. Amen.”
My Conclusion
My personal opinion on this little book is that; it is foundational for every born again believer to know what God says bout him/her. 105 Things God Says About You is just the start. Get started by getting a copy of this fine and easy to read book. Therefore, brothers and sisters begin to build your faith through the reading and internalizing of the “105 Things God Says About” and by speaking them out loud to yourself during your daily prayer and devotional time. You will activate them and they will manifest through you.
Congratulations Brother Celestine Nakeli. May God bless and prosper you in your endeavors and service to God’s people. Amen
